Pollstar is the leading trade publication covering the global live entertainment industry, including tour data, box office reports, industry news, and awards. The goal of the website redesign was to modernize the platform while preserving its authority as the industry’s primary source for live event intelligence.
The challenge was balancing large volumes of data with editorial content in a way that felt structured, accessible, and credible. The site needed to serve multiple audiences including promoters, venue operators, booking agents, and executives who rely on fast access to reports, charts, and news.
The final experience delivers a clean, data forward design that enhances readability, simplifies navigation, and elevates Pollstar’s brand presence. The platform now supports quick access to charts, reports, and articles while maintaining a professional tone that reflects its industry leadership.
My Contributions
I led the full UX and UI design for the Pollstar website, designing every page and defining the user experience across the entire platform.
I restructured the information architecture to support both editorial content and complex data sets, ensuring users could quickly find reports, charts, and industry insights. I mapped user flows for key actions such as browsing news, accessing box office data, and navigating industry rankings.
I designed all page layouts, components, and interactive elements including navigation systems, filters, data tables, and article templates. I developed a cohesive visual system that balances editorial storytelling with analytical clarity, improving hierarchy, spacing, and typographic consistency across the site.
The result is a modernized digital platform that reinforces Pollstar’s credibility while making high volume content easier to explore, analyze, and consume.
